Summer Teaching Programs

Experience the difference at Doylestown Tennis.  The JIM KLEIN TENNIS COLLEGE offers a variety of
Junior Summer Camps/Programs for your summer tennis enjoyment and training! 

What to wear/bring to camp-

* Bring your tennis racket.  Don’t have a racket?  We have junior and adult rackets in our pro shop that are moderately priced.  Our staff can help you select the proper racket.

* Wear comfortable loose clothing, sneakers, and a hat.  Classes will be outdoors, weather permitting.

* Put on sun block for protection.

* Bring a container of water.  It is important to keep hydrated when participating in all sports.

* For full day campers, bring a lunch and drink.

 

 

     

   
   JUNIOR SUMMER TENNIS CAMPS

Your choice of several outstanding summer programs specifically designed for Junior tennis development (and fun).  Register early.  Sessions fill quickly. 

AGES 4 - 9:  9:00 to 10:30 AM

    Junior Tennis Camp for Early Childhood Development 

•  Designed to develop proper tennis skills for young children (4 to 6 and 7 to 9 year olds)

•  Each session lasts 2 weeks, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week

•  Includes on and off-court instruction, drills, and exercises.

•  Camp T-shirt for each participant

     Camp Dates  -  4 two-week sessions for Summer 2016

•  Session 1:  June 20 - 24, June 27 - July 1

•  Session 2:  July 11 - 15, July 18 - 22

•  Session 3:  July 25 - 29,  Aug. 1 - 5

•  Session 4:  Aug. 8 - 12, Aug 15 - 19

 

AGES 10 - 18: 10-Day Camp

    Two Week Camps  for Juniors ages 10 - 18

•  Stresses Skills Acquisition for all levels

•  Comprehensive instruction for beginners to advanced players

•  Two week session - Monday through Friday – 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM

•  Camp T-shirt for each participant

     Camp Dates  -  4 two-week sessions for Summer 2016

•  Session 1: June 20 - July 1

•  Session 2: July 11 - July 22

•  Session 3:  July 25 - Aug. 5

•  Session 4:  Aug. 8 - Aug. 19

 

 

NEW AGES 10 - 18: Full-Day Camp

    ONE Week Full-day Camps  for Juniors

•  Stresses fitness, stroke production, strategy and match play

•  Day begins with dynamic stretching and fitness, then moves into stroke production,
   followed by strategy and finally match play
.

•  One week session - Monday through Friday – 9 AM to 4:00 PM

•  Minimum of 4 students

     10-Week Full-Day Camp Dates for Summer 2016  

•  Week 1: June 20 - 24

•  Week 2: June 27 - July 1

•  Week 3: July 4* - 8

•  Week 4: July 11 - 15

•  Week 5: July 18 - 22

•  Week 6: July 25 - 29

•  Week 7: Aug. 1 - 5

•  Week 8 Aug. 8 - 12

•  Week 9: Aug. 15 - 19

•  Week 10: Aug. 22 - 26

 

AGES 10 - 18: 10-Week College

     Juniors Tennis College - Summer Session

•  Comprehensive instruction with special emphasis on skills acquisition, tournament
    preparation and tournament play*

•  This is a continuation of our successful tennis college, which runs year-round

•  Students have a choice of 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 days a week for 10 weeks:
     --  Monday through Friday – 10:30AM to 3:00PM

•  Camp T-shirt for each participant

•  Vacation? No problem.  Make ups can be easily scheduled

     10-Week College Dates for Summer 2016  

•  Week 1: June 20 - 24

•  Week 2: June 27 - July 1

•  Week 3: July 4* - 8

•  Week 4: July 11 - 15

•  Week 5: July 18 - 22

•  Week 6: July 25 - 29

•  Week 7: Aug. 1 - 5

•  Week 8 Aug. 8 - 12

   * Monday July 4, 2016 - no camp.  Make up during any other summer session day
